#SpookyPlacesInWow: Hallow’s End Twitter Screenshot Contest

Hey everyone! Today I bring really exciting news.

If you’ve been following me on twitter, you may already be aware of all the #SpookyPlacesInWow hype. If you’re new here and don’t know exactly what I’m talking about, this is a project I’ve been working on for the past few days along with Rodhriq, author of the Youtube channel The Rodcast, and his girlfriend Ekat. More specifically, a screenshot contest for the Warcraft twitter community!

Basically, we want you to get into the Hallow’s End spirit and explore that whole big world of Azeroth in search of your favourite, spookiest places. Tweet us your screenshots, and you’re pretty much in!

Even though some people have started to share their screenies a couple of days ago, we are happy to announce that the “Spooky Places in WoW” contest is now officially OPEN! Please watch this very short video by Rodhriq to find out about the basic rules and prizes.

Feeling inspired? Go ahead and dare to explore the darkest corners of Azeroth. I’ve been featuring a spooky place everyday on my twitter too, to help people get started. Just a couple of notes, although:

  • Make sure to follow the rules specified in the video, otherwise your entries will have to be disqualified;
  • You can tweet as many screenshots as you’d like- just don’t forget to always tag them with #SpookyPlacesInWow so we can find them;
  • No Photoshop, no editing and no montages are allowed;
  • The contest is open WORLDWIDE.

You can also follow and support our threads on the official EU World of Warcraft forums, as well as on MMO-Champion, Wowhead and Reddit. Even if you’re not entering the contest, feel free to join us there and tell us about your favorite spooky spot and your creepiest moments in your time playing WoW!

We will be accepting entries until next Friday the 30th, so take your time to explore and, most importantly, HAVE FUN. 🙂 Hope to see you there! Good luck, everyone!
